Summary
[edit]DescriptionFirst Frost by Carroll Jones III.jpg |
English: "If I were to live several lifetimes,I couldn't begin to paint all the Jonesian images New England constantly reveals. Every turnoff down every road gives way to a potential wealth of new ideas. And I seem to find my best material when lost. Ironically, "First Frost" was not one of those times. Aesthetic discovery of this grand bay window eluded my eyes for years. It was right there out in the open through countless drive-bys. There had been no tree, and I had never stayed in Vermont that late into fall to observe the sun's path. One day in late September, there it was! The sun was ravishing and I moved in a tree with no more than artistic license." C.Jones III |
