Description
English: The photo was taken on the Eastern part of the municipality of Hajdúdorog, Hungary. The cross was originally erected in 1890 by Imre Orosz to the "glory of God". The cross and its vicinity was renewed by the town of Hajdúdorog in 2009. The restoration took part in 2009 when Hungary's most important religious painting, the Theotokos icon of Máriapócs was taken to Hajdúdorog. This cross is the first one on the pilgrimage route from Hajdúdorog to Máriapócs.
Magyar: A fénykép Hajdúdorog keleti külterületén készült. A feszületet eredetileg Orosz Imre állíttatta 1890-ben az "Isten dicsőségére". A keleti feszületet és környezetét Hajdúdorog város önkormányzata 2009-ben újíttatta fel. 2009-ben Hajdúdorogra vitték Magyarország legfontosabb vallásos ereklyéjét, a máriapócsi Szűzanya ikont. Ez a feszület az első a Hajdúdorogról Máriapócsra vezető zarándokúton.
