Description
English: Image of an end wrench from the first solid state digital camera, the Cromemco Cyclops, shown here displayed on Roger Melen's Tektronix 545A oscilloscope. Image produced by a Cromemco SE-1024 image sensing module. Photo by Harry Garland in 1974. The Cyclops Camera was announced in February 1975 as the cover story for Popular Electronics magazine in an article by Terry Walker, Harry Garland, and Roger Melen.
