Description
English: The First Baptist (Colored) Church was acquired from Mr. Lee W. Sinclair over one hundred twelve years ago by the African American community of West Baden Springs, Indiana. The church was established by workers of the famous West Baden Hotel who were the waiters, maids, porters, chefs, that came up from southern states to find jobs. This church has recently been restored and is now ready to resume worship services.

This is an image of a place or building that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the United States of America. Its reference number is 94000234.
