Summary
[edit]DescriptionFiries, Dismantled railway line - geograph.org.uk - 604829.jpg |
English: Firies: Dismantled railway line. This is the trackbed of the former railway line that ran from Farranfore to Castlemaine, Killorglin and Valentia Harbour, from 1885 until closure in 1960, looking in the direction of Farranfore. An old route map of Irish railways (Farranfore to Valencia Harbour Railway.jpg) shows there to have been a station on this line at Molahiffe and this could well be its location. |
