  • Firefox was separately downloaded (the default in the given Knoppix version is Iceweasel 3.0.6);
Defaults
  • Firefox shows the default set of toolbar buttons as set through the toolbar customization dialog;
  • The menu bar is not shown (default for new installations of Firefox);
  • The address bar URL is trimmed.
Non-defaults
  • The window manager is Openbox (the Knoppix default is Compiz, when not specified otherwise);
  • The Misted theme has been specified for Openbox window decorations, with the window menu button removed to hide the non-free program icon;
  • The active and inactive window titles use the DejaVu Sans Bold font and not Sans Bold;
  • The (LXDE) window theme (for widgets) is Simple-Slate;
  • The icon set used is titled 'gnome' — this directly affects the appearance of toolbar buttons in Firefox;
  • Site icons have been turned off to avoid the Wikipedia logo;
  • The search helper is Creative Commons Search, which had to be installed separately (the Firefox default is Google Search with the Google logo, which is non-free);
  • The search bar was stretched so that the words "Creative Commons" appear fully, with enough padding to the right of the text.
