Description
English: Firebase Birmingham is one of the Northern Communications and Fire Base Sites of the 101st Airborne Division. It is situated south of the A Shau Valley in I Corps, and is operated by the 1st Battalion, 502nd Infantry, 101st Airborne Division. Additionally, the 2nd Marine Air Support Squadron, 1st Marine Air Wing, has a Ground Support Radar Installation situated on the hill. NARA 111-CCV-488-CC62662
