Svenska: En häftig eldsvåda utbröt vid halv 5-tiden onsdag eftermiddag i Klichécentralens grafiska anstalt, som är belägen på vinden i huset Klara södra kyrkogata 11. Två vagnar ryckte ut från Johannes brandstation under befäl av kapten Mohlin. En slangledning drogs upp genom trappan, och efter en halvtimmes skumsläckning var elden någorlunda begränsad. Rökdykare med syrgasapparater sändes in i det brinnande rummet, varifrån en trängande rök utvecklades från eldhärden. Då en stege inifrån restes mot det sönderslagna glastaket fick en av brandmännen ena handloven sönderskuren av nedfallande glasskärvor. Han fördes med ambulans till sjukhus, där han blev ombunden. Skadorna voro dess bättre inte allvarliga. Först strax efter kl 7 på kvällen var släckningsarbetet klart och brandkårens huvudstyrka kunde återvända.
English: A fierce fire broke out at half past 5 Wednesday afternoon in the Klichécentralen's graphic institution, which is located in the attic of the house Klara södra kyrogata 11. Two wagons pulled out from the Johannes fire station under the command of Captain Mohlin. A hose line was pulled up through the stairs, and after half an hour of foam extinguishing the fire was reasonably contained. Smoke divers with oxygen devices were sent into the burning room, from where a penetrating smoke developed from the hearth of the fire. When a ladder was raised from the inside towards the broken glass ceiling, one of the firefighters had one of his hands cut by falling shards of glass. He was taken by ambulance to hospital, where he was bandaged. The injuries had better not be serious. Only shortly after 7 in the evening was the extinguishing work completed and the main force of the fire brigade could return.
