English: Locomotive Ballaarat, fire-damaged on Lockeville (Western Australia) beach ca 1908. This locomotive was the first to operate in Western Australia, in 1871; it is the oldest preserved Australian-built locomotive built for 1067 mm (3'-6") gauge. Since 2017 it has been on display in Railway House, at the Busselton Visitor Centre. |
