Summary
[edit]DescriptionFinglasstream debris grille.jpg |
English: a Debris Grille is defined as
"A vertical or angular grating, usually of iron bars and sometimes covered with a wire screen to catch deadfall and large litter continuing into the watercourse and clogging the passage of water underground" For large sections of the course of the Finglas Stream it runs through woodland. These debris grilles catch tree branches and stop these from going further along the river under the road where it could block the flow of water. |
