Summary
[edit]DescriptionFindhorn Bridge on the old A9 - geograph.org.uk - 121359.jpg |
English: Findhorn Bridge on the old A9. Built 80 years ago in 1926 replacing an earlier Telford bridge. If you like bridges then this one is amongst the best and certainly the finest on the old A9. The Findhorn is very low in this photo but is notorious for some very major floods the largest on record being August 1829, close followed by August 1970, hence this massive concrete structure with dry spans. |
