Description
English: Gown with golden sequins worn by Marlene Dietrich in the film A Foreign Affair (1948), directed by Billy Wilder. Displayed at the Museum of Film and Television Berlin, Deutsche Kinemathek.
Marlene Dietrich performed in this evening gown for American soldiers during World War II. She wore it again a few years later in the film, in her rote as the nightclub singer Erika on Schlutow.

Entwurf: Irene. Seide, bestickt mit goldfarbenen Pailletten. In diesem Kleid trat Marlene Dietrich bereits wahrend des Zweiten Weltkriegs vor amerikanischen Soldaten auf. Im Film tragt sie es in der Rolle der Nachtklubsangerin Erika von Schkitow.
