Norsk bokmål: Lord Robert, viscount Cecil of Chelwood, britisk politiker. Blokademinister 1916-18, deretter til nov. 1918 viseutenriksminister. Arbeidet særlig for styrkelsen av Folkeforbundet og sikring av freden. Mottok Nobels fredspris i 1937.
English: Lord Robert, Viscount Cecil of Chelwood, British politician. Minister of the Blockade 1916-18, thereafter until November 1918, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs. Worked especially for the strengthening of the League of Nations and the securing of peace. Received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1937.
Deutsch: Lord Robert, Viscount Cecil of Chelwood, britischer Politiker. Blokademinister 1916-18, danach bis November 1918 Vizeaussenminister. Er arbeitete speziell für die Stärkung des Völkerbundes und der Friedenssicherung. Erhielt 1937 den Nobel Friedenspreis.
