English: JNA personnel setting up explosives during the 1964 Zagreb flood. A section of Marin Držić Avenue and the railway spur for the Žitnjak heat plant were mined, and floodwaters were diverted onto the rural Savica neighbourhood and its oxbow lake, in order to save higher-density neighbourhoods and industrial zones to the north and east.
Hrvatski: Vojnici JNA postavljaju eksploziv u velikoj zagrebačkoj poplavi 1964. |
