Description
English: Insignia of the U.S. Navy Fighter Squadron 14A (VF-14A) "Privateers", in 1947. VF-14A had been established as Bombing Fighting Squadron 81 (VBF-81) "Privateers" on 13 May 1945. VBF-81 was redesignated VF-14A on 15 November 1946 and finally VF-132 on 2 September 1948. It was disestablished on 30 November 1949. The original insignia had been created by Walt Disney in 1945.
