| Description |
English: Field and Ditton Priors Railway The wood at the foot of this field is on an embankment and trackbed of the Cleobury Mortimer and Ditton Priors Light Railway. An unlikely route into sparsely populated Southeast Shropshire, it earned its keep transporting stone quarried on Brown Clee and latterly serving an arms dump in Ditton Priors. The military use ensured its survival into the 1960s. |
