Summary
[edit]DescriptionFicus retusa L.jpg |
A rare species of Ficus native to Indonesia, Ficus retusa (synonym: Ficus truncata). I took a photo of this tree in the East Jakarta area in December 2020. The tree is still young and grows epiphytes with strong strangling roots. The leaves and their characteristics are authentic to those described by Atlas der Baumarten von Java (1918) and the sample owned by Herbarium Bogoriense (1955).
