English: Bloomery made of stones, clay and covered with potliner on the inside (black), use for the iron festival of Plélan-le-Grand (France) in 1998. We can see tuyeres at the bottom; there are four of them, to collect the wind from any direction.
Français : Bas fourneau réalisé en pierres, argile et enduit interne de brasque (noir) pour expérimentation pour la Fête du fer de Plélan-le-Grand (France) en 1998. Des tuyères sont visibles à la base ; elles sont au nombre de quatre, aux points cardinaux, pour recueillir le vent quelle que soit sa direction. |
