English: Ferry and Pier at Kyle of Lochalsh Until the Skye Bridge came into use in October 1995 this ferry, across the half mile wide Kyle, was the usual method of crossing from the mainland to Skye. This photo was taken on my last pre-bridge crossing in May 1995. |
