| Description |
English: Ferry House and Kyle of Durness The first time I went to Cape Wrath, this house was the ferryman's home. To cross the kyle one had to go to the pier at Keoldale and wave until he came over. I don't recall what the arrangement was for taking the minibus - I suppose one just had to wait until it turned up. Things are more organised now, with ferry sailings at roughly predetermined times to fit in with the minibus. |
