Summary

[edit]
Description I think the compromise didn't quite work here. I should have concentrated on the rare MCW Metropolitan Ford R192 HUR396G behind the Bedford SB with Yeates bodywork... behind the Ford 105E (?) is a Plaxton bodied Bedford VAS. This was a large part of the then fleet of Norman A Read who traded as Ferrers Coaches. The stretch of road was off Hullbridge Road, once a straggling street of bungalows shacks and speculative developments, now subsumed into South Woodham Ferrers "new town". Perhaps this road leads now to a huge housing development?
