| Description |
Deutsch: Ostsüdostansicht des Gas-Kombikraftwerks Mellach in der steiermärkischen Gemeinde Fernitz-Mellach und im Hintergrund das Fernheizkraftwerk Mellach. Das Gas-Kombikraftwerk wurde ab 2009 vom VERBUND Thermal Power um rd. 550 Mio. Euro errichtet und 2011/12 in Betrieb genommenː [1]. Es besteht aus zwei gemeinsam errichteten und technisch praktisch identischen Blöcken, die jeweils mit einem eigenen Schornstein versehen sind. Beide Blöcke beinhalten sowohl je eine Gasturbine als auch einen nachgeschalteten Dampfkessel mit Dampfturbine sowie einen Stromgenerator. Damit kann insgesamt eine elektrische Energie von 832 MW generiert werden. Zusätzlich kann über Fernwärmeauskopplung bis zu 400 MW Fernwärme für die Stadt Graz gewonnen werdenː [2]. |
