Description
English: A view of Main Street, Ferndale, California circa 1896. The porch barely seen at left is the Ivanhoe Hotel, followed by the Drug Store/Post Office, then the Russ, Early & Williams Brick store (339 Main), next the Ferndale Enterprise, then the stationary store which would later be owned by Peter Canepa, and the Gilt Edge Hotel building with the pitched roof behind the horse at far right of image.
