Description
Español: Capilla Real de Sevilla. Aqví yace el Rey muy ondrado Don Ferrando. El arzobispo de Sevilla, Jaime de Palafox y Cardona contrató en 1690 al orfebre Juan Laureano de Pina para que realizara la urna de plata que debía contener el cuerpo incorrupto del monarca castellano Fernando III el Santo, que había fallecido en 1252 y sido canonizado en 1671. La urna fue terminada en 1719, y constituye el más alto exponente de la orfebrería barroca española.
