Description
Deutsch: Typisches Fachwerkhaus im Hanauerland (Ortenau). Ferienhaus Schwarzwald, Im Birkenweg 2, 77866 Rheinau. Früher typisches kleinbäuerliches Anwesen mit 2 Zimmern und Flurküche, dahinter Stallungen. Baujahr um 1800. Heute als Ferienhaus Schwarzwald vermietet. Das einstöckige Haus mit 2 Zwimmern und einem Flur in dem sich die Küche befand war vor seinem Ausbau zum Ferienhaus ein typisches "Geißebure" Haus, wie man es spöttisch nannte. Das Haus ist so schmal, dass sich der Ausbau unter dem Dach früher nicht lohnte. Es besaßt keinen Keller. Als Fundament dienten Bruchsteine, auf die direkt die ersten Balken gelegt wurden. Die Größe des Grundstücks beschränkte sich auf das Notwendigste. Heute sind diese Häuser selten geworden. Der Bauboom in der Zeit des Wirtschaftswunder nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg hat viele derartige kleinbäuerlichen Anwesen verschwinden lassen.
