Description
English: Shed wall constructed of both Fencepost limestone (six lowest visible courses) and Fairport Chalk (the upper courses)
Rather than having been quarried with feather and wedge (note missing drilled splitting holes), collected weathered slabs were deeply scored with a saw for splitting. "The pictured part of the wall was dressed smooth to allow the sliding door to open."[1]

This photograph was taken by a collaborator in response to a request with intention that I upload it to the Commons. We do not know how to acceptably free such work. Advice for acceptable method of freeing the image was requested here without response. I am hoping I can get a response here, response that presumes good faith. The photographer, choosing anonymity, released the image to me in a text with the statement, "I, the author of this work, grant anyone the right to use this work for any purpose, without any conditions or atribution[sic], unless such are required by law." If this is unacceptable, please do not count this as a strike, if possible, and please do help me figure this out. I will understand if the reason I received no responses was that there is no way to do this the way we intend. This seems to be the closest tag:
