Summary

[edit]
Description I am not sure if this is considered a fence; usually a fence divides property I think. This is the bridge that connects Brunswick (in the distance) with Topsham, Main (behind) across the Androscoggin River. The brick structure was originally a mill--one of many that were common in New England and characterized a bygone manufacturing era. Most of this manufacturing is now done in countries with developing economies and looser regulations. It now is a known as Fort Andross and is a multiple use facility with a restaurant, radio station, flea market, antique store, shoe repair shop, etc.
