Description iconographique:

Du côté gauche, un homme tient le portrait encadré d'un soldat allemand, dont le visage a été déchiré. Au centre, un résistant tient la femme tondue de la main gauche, et, de l'autre, un fusil Mauser de prise (ruban tricolore noué autour du canon, cartouchières allemandes au ceinturon). Un homme coiffé d'un casque français Mle 1926 tient quant à lui la femme tondue de la main droite (brassard au bras gauche). A droite : policier en képi et homme coiffé d'un casque Mle 1926 tenant un mousqueton français. A l'arrière-plan : Monument à Stanislas Leszczynski (1831) par Georges Jacquot.
