Summary

[edit]
Description
English: NPS/Patrick Myers While many Americans are sweating in July, Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep in Great Sand Dunes National Preserve are up on alpine tundra, where patches of snow still linger above the dunes. Female bighorn sheep have smaller horns than males, but can still use them to defend themselves or their young.
