Mein geliebtes Muttl!
Wie froh bin ich daß Du diesen schweren Angriff überstanden hast! Es muß ja diesmal ganz furchtbar gewesen sein, nun ist es doch so gekommen wie ich schon oft befürchtet habe sie fliegen auch schon Terrorangriffe auf unser schönes Wien. Viele Leute haben es nicht geglaubt daß auch bei uns noch gewütet wird. Wer hätte dies jemals gedacht unser liebes Wien das in allen Liedern besungen wird, wenn das die alten Wiener wüßten. Aber von mir aus soll alles zum Teufel gehen wenn nur Du mein Muttl mir gesund bleibst! Du mußt jetzt sehr vorsichtig sein denn es war bestimmt nicht nur der eine Angriff! Sie können jetzt ja von allen Seiten kommen, wenn doch erstmal dieses Elend vorbei wäre.
Bei uns ist ja mit den Fliegern auch allerhand los Gestern hatten wir dreimal am Tage und einmal in der Nacht Alarm. Aber das macht uns ja wenig aus denn sie fliegen ja doch nur drüber. Hier sieht man vom Krieg noch garnichts das Leben geht seinen friedlichen Gang. Ich bin immer wieder aufs neue entzückt von dieser kleinen netten Stadt vor allem aber von der Umgebung. Die Stadt ist fast ein einziger Obst- und Blumengarten. Ich wollte ich könnte Dir dies alles zeigen es würde Dir bestimmt gefallen. Du könntest mal richtig ausspannen und Dich richtig erholen!
