Osten, d. 22.III.43.
Meine liebe Mama!
Sei mir wieder recht vom Herzen gegrüßt. Heute ist es nun schon wieder eine Woche daß ich hier am Hauptverbandplatz bin. Komme jetzt eben vom verbinden der Schnitt sieht schon sehr gut aus. Komme wohl auch bald wieder zurück zu meiner Kompanie. Mir gehts es soweit sehr gut habe guten Apetit daß einzige was mir fehlt ist die Post! Diese wird wohl bei meiner Truppe zurück behalten hoffentlich schicken die die Post nicht wieder zurück. Na ich freue mich schon wenn ich zurückkomme auf die vielen Briefe. Jetzt darf ich schon aufstehen gehe auch schon in den kleinen [Russendrecknest spazieren.]
