Osten, d. 22.III.43.
Mein geliebtes Muttl!
Heute hatte ich einen großen Freudentag ganz überraschend kam Dein lieber Feldpostbrief vom 9.III. Man hatt mir den Brief von meiner Truppe aus nachgeschickt. Nun hast Du endlich Deinen verdienten Urlaub, ich weiß ja daß Du Dich sehr anstrengen mußt kannst Du denn nicht etwas leichteres bekommen? Auf die Dauer kannst Du daß doch nicht aushalten jetzt sucht man doch überall Arbeitskräfte. Du mußt immer daran denken daß ich Dich ja recht lange und auch gesund haben will! Wenn ich Dir schreibe strenge ich mich nicht an jetzt habe ich ja viel Zeit und wenn [ich wieder vorne binn kann ich bei der Feuerwache auch immer schreiben.]
