Description |
"Feeling like a fallen star" , by Erik Pevernagie (100 x 100 cm), Oil on canvas.
Even when everything that should have been, has not been, we can still seek to give some elbow room willingly for romance to heal the cracks of life. When they wish to be top dogs and become the heartbeat of all attention, some appear to be missing grit and find themselves constantly out of steam. Since the philosophy of their living seems to restrict itself to ‘enjoying wanting’ and keeping everything on a wish list, their life, eventually, remains merely wishful thinking. We all want to be a star and move into the sky of our dreams. Some want to rise to the top of the universe, look down on the small things of life and then fall down. We are merely dust: we are stardust. We are all made of stardust. "We are all made of stars." ( "Moby" ) The universe expands constantly and every day humans are born and stars are born. Every day humans and stars die: They come together and fall apart.
