| Description |
English: An extended thermostat example of a feedforward control system. A desired output is set manually – e.g. 22 degrees Celsius. Next to the current temperature, the comparator receives many different types of information, e.g. room size, humidity or the number of people in the room. This information would then be sufficient to turn on the furnace or air conditioner for a given period of time. The amount of time necessary would be subject to long periods of training. |
