The date of publication is deduced from Dorothy George (see BMSat. V p.786). This is a pair to BMSat.3781. Dighton's original watercolour for this print was sold at Sotheby's, 30 April 1953 and again from the collection of Mr Jeffrey Rose at Sotheby's, 23 February 1978, lot 43.
