Description The Fatfield War Memorial, in its original condition as built by Robert Beall, and on its previous site on Worm Hill, Washington, Tyne and Wear. In 1928, after gale damage, its cross head was removed. It stood without its cross for a while, then was moved to Bonemill Lane, Washington, where it now stands, with a new cross head.
