To get it in bloomearly, the seed should be sown in May in theopen ground where the plants are desired tobloom, and the seedlings allowed to growand flower without being transplanted.Farquhars Early Mixed Hybrids. Theearliest strain of Cosmos in existence. Ifsown in May in the open ground, it usu-ally blooms by the first or second week inJuly. The colors include pure white, shadesof lilac, rose, and crimson.
