Description

Português: Forte de Santo Antônio da Barra. Instalado no Forte de Santo Antônio da Barra, o ponto turístico pode ser visitado até o topo da torre, onde guarda uma joia centenária: a lente do farol. O forte foi a primeira edificação militar do Brasil, construída em 1534, antes mesmo da fundação da capital baiana, em 1949, e é tombado pelo Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional (Iphan). Do lado de fora, quase todos os dias, dezenas de pessoas vão curtir o famoso pôr do sol na esquina da Baía de Todos-os-Santos, porta de entrada da capital baiana, pelo mar.
