English: Farmland near Balderton level crossing The River Witham flows through this flat Lincolnshire farmland. The dykes which form an efficient drainage system across these fields mainly drain into the river. The earth bank which forms a flood defence can be seen running across the photograph in front of Holme Barn Farm, which is on the horizon. |
