| Description |
English: Farmland in Farndale From Monket House looking northeast across Farndale one can see a line of trees that follow the River Dove in the valley bottom. The river is fed both by springs and by rainwater run-off from the moors. One's eye is then naturally drawn upwards to Hall Farm nestling amongst the trees of Hall Wood, and Potter's Nab, the rocky outcrop on the skyline. The ridge running south is Blakey Ridge. |
