English: Farmhouse, Broomsthorpe Farm Broomsthorpe Farm is, I assume based on signage with Pynkney Farms on it, the home farm for nearby Pynkney Hall, the seat of Anthony Duckworth-Chad.
Amazing what you learn from a walk in the country. More seriously the size of farmhouses such as this indicate the wealth that agriculture generated in this area historically. See for other examples TF7630, TF7932, TF8237. |
