| Description |
English: Farmer's Bridge Locks. Looking down from Snow Hill station to Farmer's Bridge flight as it appears from under Ludgate Hill This picture was taken at a time when Snow Hill station was closed and the land used for car parking. As with 148223 the isolation of the canal in its industrial surroundings, away from the hurly burly of the city life just over the wall can easily be seen. Compare this view with 127082 taken no more than a couple of hundred yards further on, but nearly 30 years later! |
