We deliver all Seeds offered on this page to any Fost-Offiee in theUnited States, except in 5-lb. lots. Deduct 10c per lb. from pound pricesif shipped by express at purchasers expense. It pays to plant only the best. Our Onions are saved from Selected Bulbsonly, and are sure to produce the best crops of sound and long-keeping bulbs. We handle only choice American Pedigree Stocks. The Onion is most successfully grown in a deep, rich, loamy soil, and, tinlikemost vegetables, does best when cultivated in the same ground for a successionof years. Trench and manure the ground well in the fall, and turn up inridges during the winter, and as early as the ground will work in the springrake or harrow thoroughly, so as to get the soil fine and level. Sow thinly indrills half an inch deep, twelve inches apart, and cover with fine soil, pressingit down with the back of a spade or light roller. Keep the ground free fromweeds and thin out the young plants so they may stand three or four inchesapart.
