CATALOGUE OF SEEDS, PLANTS, BULBS AND FRUITS. A Farm Bell for SI.30 Just exactly what every farmer should have. We hardly see how the mam. facturer turns them out so that we are able to sell them at such a figure They are made of the best material—of bell metal—and thousands have been fail-to give satisfaction. Thii is something that savesl^ts^f worfon^S and'when^ ^ handsomely bronzed. *** cannot a bell can be secured at such a price as we name there is no reason why every farmer in this country should not have one. The No. 1 Farm Bell, at $1.30, weighs about 40 pounds, but if you want a larger size we can supply you with No. 2, which weighs about 50 pounds, for $1.60. If you want a larger bell than this we can supply you with No. 4, which has a diameter of about 21 inches at the mouth and weighs in the neighborhood of 100 pounds, for only $3.20. $1.85 BUYS OUR ce^rburcakTed This is a thoroughly first class truck, regulation size, strongly made, as shown by our illustration, of the best material, easy running, and a truck which would probably cost about $3.00 in a small town. Itis well finished throughout, and a truck that we are using in our own establishments, so you can depend upon its being thoroughly first class OUR HANDY TRUCK FOR $1.90. As will be noticed by our illustration, this differs from the regular bag truck, having a high iron brace at the bottom, also another through the center of the truck, strengthening it aud making it far more desirablefor heavy work. It is made out of the same material as our bag truck, and is worth about double what we ask for it. The bars of this truck, as will be seen by our illustration, are bolted on to the handle pieces, which makes it very desirable for handling large bags. THE TRIUMPH CORN PLANTER. This is a standard make which has been in use for a long while, and is giving satisfaction wherever tried. It is strongly made and guaran- teed to give satisfaction where properly used. It is made of the best kind of material, and for a planter at this price, without doubt the best that can be secured. Our price 85c. Triumph Corn Planter with Pumpkin Seed Attach- This is made by the same firm which turns out the well known "Triumph" but has the additional feature of a Pumpkin Seed Attachment which makes it particularly valuable for farmers. Since the introduction of this implement the sales have been something enormous, and the demand in- creases each season. It is a planter which cannot be too highly recom- mended, and must not becompared with some of the cheap sorts that are on the market at the present time, offered at prices about the same as this. FARMERS' PORTABLE CAD CQ OK PLATFORM SCALES iDtK D3,03w Just think of it. You cannot get a common second-hand one for 50 per cent more than we ask for this brand new, thoroughly first-class, stand- ard makesingle beam platform scale. It is well made throughout and built for wear. The best material has been used in its construction and it is handsomely finished. Size of platform 16x24. At such a price as we name there is no reason why every farmer should not have the Portable Platform Scale. It will save him money every year. Our illustration is a good repre- sentation of the scales, and, as they will be seen, they are what your retail firm at home would ask you anywhere from $16.00 to $20.00 for, poseibly more. These scales are made by one of the most reliable factories in America, but of course cannot be sold under the name given them by firms who charge a high price. NOTICE.—If you want a 1,000 lb. Farmers' Portable Platform Scale, instead, of the 800 lb., we can supply you for $10.40. ment for only $1.15. AN 800 LB. SLASHER, the Well Hnou>n i4-incb LAWN MOWER, for Here is a Lawn Mower that cannot be duplicated any- where in the country for any such price, It is a thoroughly good machine in every respect, with fine cast steel knives, open cylinder, three blades, 7% inch wheels, and is so easy running that a child can use it. Although not a high priced Lawn Mower, we have secured them in such quantities that we are able to offer them at less than regular wholesale price. It is a mower which gives a continuous cut, does smooth and excellent work, and cannot fail to give perfect satisfaction. NOTE — If you want a 12-inch Lawn Mower we can supply same for $195; or the 16-inch "Slasher" Lawn Mower for only $2.35. Our No. 1, Mounted Grindstone for only $2.65. This is something that no farmer can afford to be without, as it saves him dollars every year, and enables him to keep his tools in good condition without having to pay a big price to have them sharpened in town. The stones used are care- fully selected, and the frame is strongly made, well bolted, and each one is provided with a treadle, crank and bucket holder. As will be noticed by our illustration, the crank can be used as a wrench to tighten any of the nuts on the frame, so there is no danger of any part of it being out of order for any length of time. We have named a price on the grind- stone lower than many are being sold at by wholesale houses where they are bought in large quantities, and we feel certain that our patrons will appreciate our endea^rs to supply them with these goods at the lowest possible figures.* NOTE—Our No. 1 weighs in the neighborhood of 100 pounds. If you desire a smaller grindstone, but equally as good in every respect, we can supply you with a smaller size, which we call our No. 2, for $2.40, or No. 3, which is a little smaller, for $2.20. THE JEWEL with Steel Wheels for $2.85 This is something that everybody needs, it does not make any difference where they are located, in the city, the town or in the country. This barrow is strongly made, has the best steel wheels, is well bolted through and through, handsomely painted and has the celebrated bow frame which is used on the finest makes. Itis regulation size and well finished in every respect. This same wheelbarrow is on the market at the present time, sold under a different name, at a price nearly double what we ask for it.
