English: The crowd looks on as the reigning World Driver's Champion, Juan Manuel Fangio, reaches up with both hands to put on his goggles as he powers his Maserati 250F car away from the pits, with a helping shove from two of his mechanics. Despite being almost a minute down on the two Ferraris of Mike Hawthorn and Peter Collins at this stage, he would go on to pass both of them and win the 1957 German Grand Prix. |
