This trimming is not difficult, yet requires some practice in crochet.One row of the three pa^-ern shapes of which the trimming is composedgive alone a pretty insertion, and are crocheted separately, beginning inthe middle, yet must be joined In the course of the work, see the illustra-tion. Each square is begun with 12 ch. closed to a ring; then follow: 5 ch., 1 tr. in the last ch., which finishes the ring, * 5 ch., 2 tr., meshed off loopingthe cotton over once, in the first ch., 7 ch., i sc. in the next ring-ch., 7 ch., 2 tr. meshed together looping cotton over once, in the next ring-ch. andrepeat three times from star.
