Description
English: "Family of Man" sculpture, located in the basement entry level, en:Australia Fair Shopping Centre, Southport, Gold Coast, en:Queensland; Plaque beside the sculpture reads:

"FAMILY OF MAN Created by an unknown en:Australian Sculptor, the Family of Man adorned the facade of an early Queensland office building: the first reference to which is recorded in the Building Journal of Queensland in 1925. Designed by the Architects, Hall and Devro and localed at 395 Queen Street in Brisbane, it was the Headquarters of the Queensland Trustees.

Translated, the inscription reads -

"Evils that are foreseen Vanish." "
