English: U.S. Army Spc. Shakira Lamb, from Stafford, Va., and U.S. Army Pfc. Stacey Jordan, from Belmont, N.Y., both military police officers with the 164th Military Police Company, 793rd Military Police Battalion, 3rd Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, render a tearful, final salute to the fallen soldiers from their company during a memorial ceremony June 11 on Forward Operating Base Mehtar Lam. Four military police officers from the 164th MP Company, U.S. Army Sgt. Christopher Bell, of Saint Joseph, Mich., U.S. Army Spc. Robert Voakes, Jr., of Hancock, Mich., U.S. Army Sgt. Joshua Powell of Tyler, Texas, and U.S. Army Sgt. Devin Snyder of Cohockton, N.Y., were killed in an improvised explosive device attack June 4 outside the village of Khanda in Laghman province, Afghanistan. |
