Description

Falkenborg (Gnr. 6 Bnr. 1) var opprinnelig en parsell av Belbuan som ble fradelt i 1777 og solgt til kjøpmann Peter A. Falch som oppkalte eiendommen etter seg selv.

Eiendommen ble benyttet som landsted av Falch og påfølgende eiere; bakermester J. C. Struck fra 1832 og kjøpmann Ole Strømsem fra 1880. Strømsems etterslekt hadde eiendommen inntil 1963, da et utbyggingsselskap overtok og utstykket jordveien til tomteområder for industri- og handelsvirksomhet.

En allé med forskjellige treslag fører inn til Falkenborg; denne alléen ble fredet som landskapsvernområde og botanisk naturminne i 1968.
