True-colour facsimile print of a Zeppelin-postcard of the German Empire from 1932; The obverse of the postcard shows a photography of the airship "Luftschiff Graf Zeppelin, LZ127" during his "2nd South America Travel" in 1932 (direction: Captain Hugo Eckner) in Pernambuco (Brazil) (original photography taken from the light cruiser "Karlsruhe“ during his abroad travel in 1931/1932; The photograph was made on order of the "Zeppelin-Reederei, Abteilung Luftschiffbau" and was merchandised as postcard-motive by the Postcard Publishing Company of the Brothers Metz (= former "Kunstanstalt“) in Tübingen (1828 founded, from 1890 with own postcard production, from 1895 onwards also in Basel (Switzerland).); The postcard is franked with the both different stamps, airmail Michel No. 381 from 1926 (valid to 1934, 50 Pf. orange; Wm No. 2, standing waffles) by O.H.W. Hadank (1889-1965) and the definitive stamp Michel No. 416 from 1928 (valid to 1935, 25 Pf, blue; Wm No. 2, standing waffles) by Carl Goetz (1875-1950), which were postmarked with a two-circle bridge board cancellation (bridge not continious) with 35.0 mm diameter from the "Luftschiff Graf Zeppelin", .
